Chainsaw Proctologists came back dramatically to top the SSB SSB Tar Heels by
the score of 6 to 5.
Chainsaw had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs on 3 hits.
After two outs Maicer Izturis started the rally when he hit a single.
Izturis took off for second and slid in with a stolen base. Howie Kendrick
then laced a single. Juan Pierre came up and he drew a walk to load the
bases. Mike Cameron came to the plate and drew a walk. Lyle Overbay kept
things alive and drew a walk. Lind was next and he stroked a base-hit.
Chainsaw had 12 hits overall, while SSB had 9.
Brandon Medders(1-3) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Carlos
Marmol gained credit for his 3rd save. Alberto Arias(1-2) took the loss in
relief. He gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.
